East Cowes Vics Sponsorship

We are delighted to be sponsoring the East Cowes Vics this season

Mid Solent League Division 1

East Cowes Vics U15’s     11-0     Ranvilles Rangers(Fareham)

The Vics maintained their current position at the top of Division 1 in the Mid Solent League with fantastic team performance on Saturday morning. Within the first 10mins Vics were 2-0 up with goals from Jordon Stacey and Ollie McArthur. After this initial burst, Ranvilles managed to organise themselves a lot better but never really threatened the Vics goal. As half time approached a through ball from Jake Cass found Jordon who drove his shot low and hard past the keeper to score his second and within minutes Billy Heard added a fourth. With the lead we had, it meant I could bring on all four subs to give them a decent run out. It got a lot worse for Ranvilles, because within seconds of the restart they conceded a penalty, which Ollie calmly netted. Jacob Morley who had just come on then scored the sixth goal and then moments later Jordon completed his hat-trick to make it 7-0.  Liam Blyth eventually got his goal that his hard work deserved before further goals from Jacob and Billy again and another well-deserved goal for Charlie McFarlane rounded off the scoring. I’m very pleased with how hard the boys are working and were now looking forward to the next few weeks as we’ve last year’s Champions and Hampshire Cup Winners Havant & Waterlooville three weeks running. Next week we’ve got them in the Portsmouth Cup and then a double league header at home and then away.

Team: Morgan Perrin, Harry Ridley, James Whitewood, Connor Mumford, Ben Smith, Joel Porter, Ollie McArthur, Jake Cass(Capt), Billy Heard, Liam Blyth, Jordon Stacey:

Subs: Ben Harvey, Charlie McFarlane, Sam Downes & Jacob Morley

Next Fixture – Away to Havant & Waterlooville (Saturday 19th October)
