Social Network Training Isle of Wight
We will be holding a social network training session on the Isle of Wight on Thursday 29th August 2013 at The Island Innovation Centre in Newport, Isle of Wight from 10am to 2pm.
Many of you will know that I have very little time and patience for a lot of the nonsense that gets pumped out on the social networks but it is an absolute fact that using the social networks ‘properly’ to promote your business is probably the most powerful and cost effective marketing tool we all have at our disposal. When you start combining blogging and the use of free advertising sites with ‘proper and effective’ use of the social networks you can see visitor numbers to your website increase by hundreds a day. This is the kind of info we will be looking at on the day.
The social network training session will cover all of this in plain easy to understand English, no geek speak and no nonsense and nothing technical or geeky to remember or take in.
The social network training day will be a relaxed but in depth tutorial with time for questions and answers sessions on each subject covering all of the following.
- How to set up facebook and twitter accounts for marketing your business.
- How to build up your social network.
- How to use the social networks to get extra visitors to your website.
- How to write blog / news posts that get found in search engines.
- Taking advantage of free advertising sites.
- Basic SEO tips.
- The power of video.
Refreshments and lunch will be included in the session and there is ample car parking at the Innovation Centre. Course materials will be provided, the only thing you need to bring is a sense of humor and a smile. Dress code is smart casual.
The cost for the training day will be £29.50 per person.
Places are limited so if you’d like to attend please email email@example.com and we will send you a link to the booking form.
If you are traveling to the isle of wight for the social network training and want to stay the night we can arrange accommodation for you within easy distance of the centre.
