An email claiming to be from Companies House is circulating this morning which has a zip file attached to it and within the zip file is a .exe file which if clicked on installs a virus on your computer.

The fake email looks as if it has genuinely come from Companies House and even gives the correct Companies House contact details within the email.

The theme of the email is a (CC01) Company Complaint.

Apple iTunes Scam Email Warning

One of our clients has reported being scammed this morning by a fake email pretending to be from iTunes.

The fake email invites you to click on a link to verify your details at which point, if you enter your details, the scammers then have your account information.

In the case of the client that reported this a purchase of 200 tracks was carried out without the clients knowledge.
